Nick, Back in 2010 you wrote concerning Dummy cameras and the lawsuits that are resulting. I am also in the LA area with clients that request these. Can you cite any specific lawsuits regarding this type of litigation? It sounds absurd that someone could sue a business for 'false sense of security' unless they specifically implied the security for the employee or person. I am just trying to guide a few customers as to what they may do to protect themselves without repercussions from disgruntled employees. Thank you.
Sorry for the late response. At the time I did have the court records available on line but have no idea where they went. What I recommend is that you refuse to install them OR have them sign a disclosure because you do not want to be thrown into the mix if and when they get sued. People now a days are way to sue crazy
